Notice for the New Registration/Advising System and Registration Schedule of Fall 2016 Semester

Guideline for Students

  1. Students are advised to remain in touch with their respective advisors for mainly academic purposes from running semester to rest of their undergraduate study period in DIU.
  2. Students will find their advisors in the attached document of this mail or from notice board or from their respective CR.
  3. Students must complete their registration done by their assigned advisors from Fall-2016 semester to rest of their undergraduate study period in DIU.
  4. Students are instructed to make any application regarding academic and administrative purposes (except matter of tuition fees, pls see section 6 below) through their concern advisors.
  5. Students who have CGPA below 2.5, are advised to contact TE office at first then go to the advisor for registration purpose.
  6. Students are suggested to contact administrative offices like accounts, registrar office regarding dues or accounts clearance purposes, not to their advisor.
  7. The students who are not included in the list, doubled in the list, wrong ID; suggested to contact TE office. Then department will be again distributed to any advisor.

NOTICE for the Registration of Fall 2016 Semester

It is hereby notified to all the students of Dept. of Textile Engineering that their course registration for the Fall -2016 Semester will be held according to the following schedule. The Faculty Members will help the students in the registration process. Without course registration, students will not be allowed to enter into the lecture class and their name and ID will not be recorded in the attendance register.

Steps to be followed-

  1. All the students are suggested to collect the Registration Clearance Form from the Accounts Section by paying 1st installment money to DIU accounts section, detail schedule of collection will be mailed to you soon.
  2. Students are also suggested to clear all the previous dues before the date of the registration.
  3. Students must remain present physically during registration as per schedule mentioned above.
  4. Students must contact their respective faculty members for registration purpose. Please see the name of your faculty member in the notice board.
  5. Back log courses should be taken at first, there is no alternative to this.
  6. Students must follow their respective syllabus / course structure (Course code/title) which is available in department notice board and DIU Forum.
  7. Classes of Fall 2016 will start from September 22, 2016
No Add/Drop will be Allowed
